Well where do I start, the One of a Kind show was incredible!! So. Many. Beautiful. Things. I walked around in a daze most of the time because I wasn’t sure where to look first. So many of the vendors were friendly and helpful, here’s a few of my favourites.

This was purely a “fun for me” purchase,  a kiriki embroidered doll kit. These little boxes were pure style and design with a fun little project inside. She was featured at the front of the show and I also noticed her things stocked at The Workroom, a specialty sewing shop I stopped in to on my way home.

Aside from the lovely fashion, food and art vendors, I was most interested in the pottery and screen printed fabric designers. Hatchet Made was one such designer that had some lovely screen printed linen products that I could die for. The awesome ottomans were done by foutu tissu and the colourful corner with pillows and bags is Avril Loreti.

All in all I would absolutely recommend taking a day to visit the show. In good traffic it was only 2.5 hrs and my little sidekick baby Ivy was a gem the entire time! As I mentioned earlier, on my way back I stopped in to a store I’ve been wanting to visit for some time.  The Workroom stocks designer fabrics and patterns and offers evening classes for various projects like bags, clothes and quilts. It was as lovely as the pictures online, I got a couple pieces of linen fabric and many thanks to Lindsay for snapping this photo of Ivy and I in front of the fabric display for you all.
