This was a little project I had in mind for some time. At our local CSA there was a lovely flower patch often frequented by me and my girls. Each week we went home with a collection of flowers to display. This was the first time I had seen a strawflower. It was just like the name, stiff and dry like straw but with striking colours, mostly in oranges, reds and pinks. I loved it! Because it is naturally so dry, it’s perfectly suited for preservation.
