With the holidays wrapping up we have all begun to change our homes back to “normal” and think about the New Year ahead. My home always feels a little bare after putting away all the Christmas decor. Although bare isn’t the only word I would use to describe it. It also feels like a clean slate which is refreshing.

For some it’s the people, for others, the wintry weather. And still others, the baking and decor. Did I mention presents? Decorating for Fall

When we think about fall decor, the first thing that comes to mind is pumpkins, mums and cornstalks. Am I right? While these iconic fall pieces are lovely, there’s so much more to changing our homes for this new season than just front door displays. Our lifestyles in fall change as well and our homes can reflect that in ways that are comforting and useful.

Classes

Today we get to talk about classes. This is the first time I have offered classes on my projects. I’m super excited! These are taking place in person at the new store in St. Thomas, Ontario. I designed the space with a huge table specifically for gathering people together to create beautiful things. I’m scheduling three this summer with plans to include a danish cord weaving class in the fall. See below for class descriptions, these are all available to sign up on the site.

New Store

So very excited to announce the opening of my first storefront right here in St. Thomas! Ever since I started sewing pillows back in 2015 I have dreamt of having a shop but didn’t think it would be possible. But I’ve been keeping my eye on the market and the right building came up at the right time. Oh wow did I fall in love with this little place.
